IV. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Place the grill on a flat and dry surface (e. g. kitchen table) at least 85 cm high out of
reach of children. Insert the power cord fork
A7 into the electric socket and make sure the
power cord is not damaged, it goes under the grill or through any sharp or hot surfaces.
The electric socket must be easily accessible so that a grill can be easily disconnected
from power supply if danger appears. Make sure that drip container
B is inserted in the
grill (Fig. 4). Set the grill to the required decline or on a flat surface, or you fully open it.
Set suitable temperature on control panel
A1 according to the processed type of food,
or the preparation time. Let the grill heat without inserted food with lid
A2 snapped shut.
The display and the sound signalling inform about reaching the work temperature. Put
food on lower plate
A5 (preferably on its centre) and snap the lid shut. The floating hinge
automatically adapts height of the upper lid to thickness/strength of food. During grilling,
you can push plates „slightly“ to each other using handle
A4. Turn off the appliance several
minutes before the end of grilling because the plates are hot enough for finishing grilling.
Remove food using suitable wooden or plastic turner.
TIPS FOR ACHIEVING THE BEST RESULTS WHEN GRILLING MEAT
Consider the following tips for preparing food as examples and inspiration, the purpose of
which is not to provide instructions, but to show various possibilities of preparing food. The
times of food preparation (processing) are only approximate and they are given in minutes.
The time of grilling will vary according to the temperature of the grill, the environment and
the type of the prepared food. You can adjust the preparation time to your taste; the longer
the preparation takes, the crispier the food will be.
All times of food preparation recommended in professional literature (cookery books)
anticipate that food has the refrigerator temperature. Preparation of frozen meat can last
much longer.
Watch the food carefully when grilling and adjust the time of preparation at your wish. Food
will be grilled more thoroughly if you turn it more frequently. Before grilling vegetables, fish
or lean meat we recommend greasing the plate with vegetable oil or spraying it with special
oil against food sticking. If you prepare fatty meat or marinated food, the plate does not
have to be treated in this way. Use fresh food only (not frozen).
Remove tendons and excessive fat from meat and fish bones from fish. Cut food you want
to grill to slices about 1 to 1.5 cm thick. If you want to make your meat tenderer, you can
salt the food in advance, put spices on it, cover with sauce or oil.
Before you start grilling marinated meat, remove excessive marinade and humidity from it.
Some marinades contain a lot of sugar that could stick to the plates during grilling. Do not
pierce meat during grilling and do not dry it excessively by extended preparation.
If you prepare various kinds of food one after another (e. g. meat, fish, vegetables, fruit),
we recommend cleaning food residues from the plates using a wooden turner, a spatula or
a paper towel. Do not clean hot plate with water!
You can make use of the following table to help you determine the approximate time of
grilling.
