8. Applications Setup for PC
The QuataFire 610 driver supports applications using WDM, MME, ASIO and
DirectSound. This section provides quick setup guide for some common recording
applications. For more detailed information, please consult the application’s user manual.
Note: It is strongly recommended that you configure QuataFire 610 to the proper sample rate before
launching the application. Otherwise, the system may become unstable.
1. Cubase SX
After launching Cubase, go to Device Setup > VST Multitrack. Select ‘ASIO 2.0 – ESI
QuataFire 610’ as ASIO driver. Set MIDI input and output as ‘ESI – QuataFire 610
MIDI1(or 2)’ as shown below.
2. Nuendo
After launching Nuendo, go to Device Setup > VST Multitrack. Select ‘ASIO 2.0 – ESI
QuataFire 610’ as ASIO driver.
