Chapter 3: Operating The DR TOWABLE BACKHOE
It may be helpful to better familiarize yourself with the features of your Backhoe
by reviewing Figure 1 in Chapter 2 before beginning the steps outlined in this
chapter.
Control Levers
1. Familiarize yourself with all of the Control Levers (Figure 6) and all of their
functions by studying the Operation Label before operating the Backhoe.
Figure 7 shows the Joystick option.
Starting the Engine
1. Turn the Ignition Switch to the “ON” position (Figure 8).
2. Make sure the Fuel Shut-off is in the “OPEN” position (Figure 9).
