Setting the Timer
The power can be set to turn on and off every day at the same time in any of five modes: tuner, CD, cassette deck, MD
player and air check (recording from the radio). (Preset the AM or FM station beforehand.)

Press the SYSTEM power operation
switch (SYSTEM ON/ STANDBY) on
the receiver to turn on the system’s
power.

Example: Setting the tuner to turn on at 2:35 p.m., off at 2:56 p.m. (with FM 87.5 MHz preset at channel ”3“)
Say that FM 90.00 MHz is tuned in at preset
channel number ”1“.

mark is displayed after the TIMER button is pressed, the timer will operate at the same times every day. To
turn the timer off, press the TIMER button again to turn the
mark off.
The standby mark (”
“) will not light if the current time is not set. If this is the case, set the current time, then press
the TIMER button.
