Display Cause Remedy
Code is flash-
ing Only 1 or 2 digits have been entered for
the foodstuffs code. Enter the required 3-digit
code for the foodstuff, e.g.
001 for buttermilk. For
codes, see Section 10
Foodstuffs List, page 30.
M is flashing The maximum memory of at least one of
the nutritional or energy values has been
exceeded, e.g. over 99999 kJ. Clear the memory with
memory button MC.
Bat The batteries are almost empty. Change the batteries (see
Section 6 'Changing Batter-
ies', page 28).
Minus value (-) The item to be weighed was placed on the
scales before they were switched on.
Press the ON/OFF TARA
button.
No display The batteries are entirely flat. Insert the new batteries
(see Section 6 'Changing
