3 Follow the directions below to remove the natural gas orifices. Apply thread sealant to the LP orifices
(Rear #53, Front #56) and tighten in place with a 1/2" open end wrench. Slide the adjustable shutter
back in place over the orifice. Replace the mixing tubes and secure in place with the screws.
Remove the four screws
holding the front and rear
mixing tubes in place.
Slide the mixing tubes away
from the air shutters and
place aside.

Slide both air shutters to the fully
open position (to the left - see
page 29).
Burner Orifices

1/2" Wrench
Use a 1/2” open end wrench
to unscrew both orifices.
Front Burner
Orifice
Screw the LP orifice in so the
orifice shoulder protrudes 5/16”
(indicating full insertion).
Look here for the orifice identification
Apply thread sealant to the LP
orifices prior to installation. Use
the chart below to identify the
correct orifices.
