Multi-Port DVI-2/4-SE Splitter / Extender Installation
1. First Time Setup: Turn off the DVI output device (PC
or DVD Player) and monitors.
2. Connection: Connect the local DVI monitor and
speaker to the “VIDEO/AUDIO OUT” of the Extender.
Take one DVI integrated cable DVI-C-180AT and plug
DVI end to “VIDEO/AUDIO IN” port of Extender and
the other end of the cable to your PC’s DVI-D video and
speaker ports.
3. Connect power adapter.
4. Turn on your DVI output device and monitor to confirm
the function of display. The “LINK” LED of the Extender
should turn Orange to indicate the connection of a local
DVI monitor and the “ACTIVE” LED should turn Blue to
indicate an activated DVI-D signal.
5. The Extender has a built-in EDID simulator. When you
connect a local DVI monitor, the Extender will
automatically record the EDID from the DVI monitor.
When you do not connect the DVI monitor locally, the
Extenders will simulate the EDID communication like a
regular monitor and activate the DVI signal of PC.
