Multi-Port DVI-2/4-SE Splitter / Extender Installation

1. First Time Setup: Turn off the DVI output device (PC

or DVD Player) and monitors.

2. Connection: Connect the local DVI monitor and

speaker to the “VIDEO/AUDIO OUT” of the Extender.

Take one DVI integrated cable DVI-C-180AT and plug

DVI end to “VIDEO/AUDIO IN” port of Extender and

the other end of the cable to your PC’s DVI-D video and

speaker ports.

3. Connect power adapter.

4. Turn on your DVI output device and monitor to confirm

the function of display. The “LINK” LED of the Extender

should turn Orange to indicate the connection of a local

DVI monitor and the “ACTIVE” LED should turn Blue to

indicate an activated DVI-D signal.

5. The Extender has a built-in EDID simulator. When you

connect a local DVI monitor, the Extender will

automatically record the EDID from the DVI monitor.

When you do not connect the DVI monitor locally, the

Extenders will simulate the EDID communication like a

regular monitor and activate the DVI signal of PC.
