System Configuration.
In addition to dust measurements, the APM950 system can be configured to measure a variety of
parameters such as wind speed, direction, temperature and humidity.
Each APM system will have its own particular configuration defining exactly which parameters
will be logged, the desired averaging functions applied to raw data and also how often the data
sets will be recorded.
P.C. Software Package.
The APM950 P.C. software package is an attractive and easy to use program which integrates
the functions of system configuration, data collection and historical report presentation.
The program operates within the WINDOWS environment and provides the following features:-
•
Graphical presentation of recorded parameters over user selected time periods.
•
Automatic gravimetric correction for correlation of real time and gravimetric results.
•
Summary report presentation showing average maximum, minimum, and total values over
a
user selectable time period. Easy importing of reports using the Windows 'Clipboard'.
•
System configuration and diagnostic testing.
Hardware Requirements.
IBM compatible P.C. (386, 486 or Pentium processor). Windows operating system versions
3.1, 3.11 or 95, 8mB RAM, VGA graphics, Hard Disk Drive (program occupies typically
<1MB). An optional printer may be required for report presentation.
Program Installation.
The software will be supplied on one 3.5" high density floppy disk.
Insert the disk into the appropriate floppy drive. Using Windows 'File Manager' or 'Explorer' run
the file
A:\
INSTALL.EXE.
Follow on screen messages to load the program into a directory
C
:\APM950. (an alternative
drive and directory name may be used if desired).
