turn off a false alarm. The device will be automa-
tically adjusted to a lower level of sensitivity. This
allows false alarms to be suppressed for a period
of about 10 minutes, i.e. the device is muted.
After the mute period expires, the device automa-
tically returns to normal sensitivity. If you want to
prolong the mute, just press the test/mute button
again.
Coding
All interconnected smoke detectors
must be set to the same radio code.
The factory setting is radio code “1”.
In order to prevent interference with
other systems of the same type, we
recommend that you change the code on all
devices prior to installation.
This does not apply for the code »0«, which is a
priority function. When a smoke detector is set for
the code number »0«, then this device can receive
radio signals from devices with all other codes
after a 3 minute delay.
Special Alarm-Function
In order to more easily localise the source of an
alarm, those detectors that are networked with
detectors that have already sounded only sound
the full alarm signal after a delay of 30 seconds.
