Disconnect the negative lead from the

battery.

B.

Loosen and remove the alternator, power

steering pump and air conditioning pump

v-belts.

C.

Remove the stock crank pulley.

D.

If a charge cooled kit is being installed,

remove the battery from the vehicle. It will

need to be relocated to the trunk using a

battery relocation kit. Follow the

instructions supplied with the battery

relocation kit of your choice. (Vortech

8N150-010 may be used)

1. PREPARATION/REMOVAL

NOTE:

If you have not changed the

spark plugs in the last 15,000

miles, do so prior to the

installation of this kit.
