handling the SP-99
Do not drop, disassemble, open, crush, bend, deform, puncture, shred, microwave,
incinerate, paint, or insert foreign objects into the SP-99. Use common sense when
operating this and all electronic devices.
avoid water and wet locationS
Do not use the SP-99 in the rain, or near sinks, bathtubs or other wet locations.
Take care not to spill any food or liquid on the SP-99. In case the SP-99 gets wet,
unplug all cables, turn off the SP-99 before cleaning, and allow it to dry thoroughly
before turning it on again. Do not attempt to dry the SP-99 with an external heat
source such as a microwave oven or hair dryer.
rePairing the SP-99
Never attempt to repair or modify the SP-99 yourself. The SP-99 does not contain
any user-serviceable parts. If the SP-99 has been submerged in water, punctured,
or subjected to a severe fall it is advised not to use the device again.
Powering the SP-99
To power the SP-99, use only the power adapter that came with this device.
Read all safety instructions for any products and accessories before using with the
SP-99. Tenqa is not responsible for the operation of third party accessories or their
compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
When using the included power adapter, make sure that the power adapter is fully
connected to the SP-99 before you plug it into a power outlet. Then insert the
SP-99’s power adapter firmly into the power outlet. Do not connect, disconnect,
unplug, or plug in the power adapter with wet hands. The power adapter may
become warm during normal use. Always allow adequate ventilation around the
Tenqa power adapter and use care when handling. Unplug and do not use the
power adapter if any of the following conditions exist:
• The power cord or plug has become frayed or damaged.
• The adapter is exposed to rain, liquid, or excessive moisture.
• The adapter case has become damaged.
• You suspect the adapter needs service or repair.
• You want to clean the adapter.
