Installation
1. Attach the I/O cable from the drive carrier circuit board of the DE90i-A to the drive
(Figure 7).
2. Attach the DC power cable from the rear distribution board to the drive (Figure
7).
3. For Method 2 Users (as defined on page 7):
If the 3-pin Master/Slave select cable was created as outlined in the previous
section, install it now into the connector on the drive carrier circuit board. See
Figure 6 for a typical AT/IDE connection. Also refer to the documentation that
accompanied the drive for more specific information.
4. Carefully insert the drive into the drive carrier at an angle, cable-end first. Make
sure none of the cables are pinched. Lower the front of the drive carefully
into place. Fasten the drive into the carrier with four (4) of the eight (8) screws
provided as shown in Figure 7.
5. Install the provided cable cover.
