13 ‘ACCESS FOLLOWS’ MODES (AAX ONLY)
13 ‘ACCESS Follows’modes(AAX only)
The AAX Native and DSP versions of the Oxford Dynamics plug-in include three extra
options under the Sonnox button menu. These are intended to enhance the behaviour of
the plug-in for ICON/EUCON control surface users.
ACCESS followsplug-in
This is the default mode. In this mode, the visible section in the plug-in GUI can only
be changed by a mouse click on the GUI ACCESS buttons. This prevents
automation from switching the visible section in the plug-in GUI.
ACCESS followsExtControllerIN
This is intended for control surface users who are
alsoautomatingtheplug-in. In
this mode, control surface initiated section IN button changes will cause the
ACCESS button to follow. Automation of other section parameters will not change
the visible section. This prevents automation of other section parameters from
switching the visible section in the plug-in GUI.
ACCESS followsExtController(any)
This is intended for control surface users who are
not using automation. In this
mode, any control surface change of any plug-in parameter will switch the plug-in
GUI ACCESS to that parameter’s section. This allows the plug-in GUI to follow the
section that is currently being adjusted via the control surface.
