Mouse Speed
■
Auto mouse speed
Use this option if the mouse settings on host use an additional acceleration
setting. The IP module tries to detect the acceleration and speed of the mouse
during the mouse sync process.
■
Fixed mouse speed
Use a direct translation of mouse movements between the local and the remote
pointer.
You may also set a fixed scaling which determines the pixel-amount of the
remote mouse pointer movement when the local mouse pointer is moved by one
pixel. This option is used to manually control the remote mouse speed and only
works when the mouse settings on the host are linear. This means mouse
acceleration of OS should be disabled, and the intelligent mouse synchronization
of IP module is not functioning under this setting.
To set the options, click on the button “Apply”.

Miscellaneous Video Settings
■
Noise filter
This option defines how the IP module reacts to small changes in the video input signal. Turning on
the noise filter can help reduce video flickering that is often caused by distortions, as well as lowering
unnecessary bandwidth consumption. A large filter setting needs less network traffic and leads to a
faster video display, but small changes in some display regions may not be recognized immediately. A
small filter displays all changes instantly but may lead to a constant amount of network traffic even if the
display content is not really changing (depending on the quality of the video input signal). All in all the
default setting should be suitable for most situations.
