ACLS Administrators Guide
The system can be used in three different setups, which are
described briefly just below and in more detail on page 14 of this
guide.
1. HeartCode ACLS Full System
(Part 1 and Parts 2 and 3)
This is the full ACLS program including the
cognitive version and the manikin system for the.
2. HeartCode ACLS Part 1 Cognitive Only
This setup provides access to the cognitive
portion only. A manual skills test would need to be
completed with an AHA ACLS Instructor.
3. HeartCode ACLS Parts 2 and 3 Skills Practice
and Testing Only
This setup provides access to the voice-assisted
manikin for the skills test portion of the program
for learners who have completed the cognitive
portion of HeartCode ACLS via OnlineAHA.org or
alternate Web-based version.
