Adding licenses
Before you can start to use HeartCode ACLS, you must add
licenses to the Laerdal License Server.
1. Open the Laerdal License Server from the start
menu.
2. Click “Add License” under the “License overview”
section.
3. Type in or paste the license key (a series of
random letters and numbers) and click “OK”.
4. Select “Internet” if applicable, select “Next”, and
then select “Connect” to activate the license key.
5. A window should open and tell you that your key
has been activated.
6. Repeat steps 2-5 if you received more than one
license key.
User creation / administration
You can create new users in the License Server and manage
basic user information such as changing passwords or granting
access to new licenses.
Steps to create a new user and give access to a license:
1. Open the Laerdal License Server from the start
menu.
2. Click “Add User” under the “Users” section.
3. Type in the user’s login (e-mail address).
Notice that the password will be the same as the
e-mail address by default. This can be changed if
desired.
4. Select which licenses the user can access. To do
this you must check the box next to each license.
