Tune edit: TUNE
This function allows to modify the default standard A=440 Hz tuning of the instrument. This is a very useful function when
you play along with other musician or singers, as it adjusts the instrument’s tuning to their needs.
Keep pressed the TUNE key in the piano keyboard (A7), and
press the DATA UP button on the control panel.
The piano produces a sine (sinusoidal) reference signal at
A=440 Hz. Each time you press the DATA UP button, this
frequency will increase in steps of 0,5 Hz, from A=440 Hz
to A=452,5 Hz. On the contrary, pressing the DATA DOWN
button, the default frequency will descrease in steps of 0,5
Hz, in a range from A=440 Hz to A=427,5 Hz.
From any selection, the standard tune A=440
Hz can be recalled by simply pressing the two
DATA UP/DOWN buttons at the same time,
keeping pressed the function key TUNE (A7)
on the piano keyboard .
Transpose edit: TRANSPOSE
This function modifies the global piano transpose, increasing or decreasing it by semitones (+/- 12 in total). Use this function
to modify the piano intonation according to the other musicians or singers needs.
Press the DATA UP button on the control panel, keeping
pressed the TRANSPOSE function key (B7) in the piano
keyboard.
The first time the DATA UP button is pressed,
the piano gives a reference note of the current
transposition. In this case, the default set C=C.
Pressing the DATA UP button again, the global
transpose will increase of a semitone C=C
. Each time you press DATA UP, the transpose
shifts the piano a semitone up.
Pressing the DATA DOWN button, the global
intonation will decrease of a semitone. Each
time you press the DATA DOWN button, the
transpose shifts the piano a semitone down (i.e.
C=C, C=B, C=B
, C=A etc.).
From any selection the normal transpose
can be restored simply pressing the two
DATA UP/DOWN buttons at the same
time, keeping pressed the function key
TRANSPOSE (B7) on the piano keyboard.
