LED Indicators
There are three LED indicators on the front panel, “READY”, “MEDIA” and “RIBBON”.
These indicators display the present status of the printer.
READY The Ready LED indicates the following conditions:
ON - The printer's power is on, unit is ready to print.
Off - The printer's power is off.
Blinking - Error condition (see Troubleshooting section in USER
GUIDE for details)
MEDIA The Media LED indicates the following conditions:
ON - Media is installed and ready for Normal operation.
Off - The printer's power is off.
Blinking - Media Out condition.
This condition only occurs following a media motion
request.
RIBBON The Ribbon LED indicates the following conditions:
ON - The printer is set for Thermal Transfer mode and the printer
contains a Thermal Transfer Ribbon.
OFF - The printer is set for Direct Thermal Mode.
Blinking - The printer is set for Thermal Transfer mode and the ribbon
is not moving or at end of life.
This condition only occurs following a media motion
request.
