3 Module Description
3.1 Processor
There are several ATOM E6xx processor (formerly TunnelCreek) models available with the
CoreExpress-ECO2:

Intel ATOM processor E620 0.6 GHz
•
Intel ATOM processor E640 1.0 GHz
•
Intel ATOM processor E660 1.3 GHz
•
Intel ATOM processor E680 1.6 GHz
Some of the key features of this processor architecture are:

3.2 Platform Controller Hub
The Platform Controller Hub (PCH) EG20T (formerly TopCliff) provides extensive I/O support.
Functions and capabilities include i.e.:

6x USB 2.0, 1x USB client

1x Gigabit MAC: RGMII
•
1x SDIO
•
1x CAN
•
SPI, I2C
3.3 Watchdog
CoreExpress-ECO2 supports a watchdog function. This function can be configured by the LEMT tool
and let the SMC send a watchdog signal out when the configured time is reached.
The watchdog signal has no access to the module but it could be used on the carrier e.g. to reset the
module.
Watchdog signal is available on CoreExpress pin B88.
