Your ÛKO-LAVAMAT is equipped for especiaiiy effective water
pre-softening by means of a 2-stage dispensing for detergent
and softener. On
programmes wittiout prewash, it aiiows sep­
arate dispensing of softener and detergent.
This heips you .save detergent and perceptibiy rèduce the
amount of "chemicais” in our rivers and streams.
The 2-stage dispensing feature ensures that the softener is initiai-
iy dispensed and can then soften the water for around five min­
utes. Oniy then is the detergent used, encountering the already
presoftened water and immediately going to work on dissolving
the dirt. That rêiniorces the washing power of your machirie and
ensures excellent washing results despite very economical deter­
gent consumption.
You shold dose the special softener according to the water hard­
ness as instructed on the softener package, minus 20 % that you
can save due to tìie optima! effectiveness of the water pre­
softening feature. In this case, you should always dose the de*
tergent for “soft” hardness range f as instructed on the deter­
gent packages.
On
programmes with prewash, you can also wash with déter­
gent and special softener in the same environmetally conscious
manner. In this case, add the detergent and softener together in
the respective compartments for prewash and main wash. The
dosage also here depends on the instructions given on the deter­
gent and softener packages.
As previously, you can also of coursé use commercial detergents
without the softener depending on hardness range according to
the dosage recommendations on the detergent packages.
