B Check that the fabrics are machine-wash^le. The internation
ally valfct care marks will give you guidance.

Woollens labelled only with the woolmark ^ are
not
suitable
for machine-washing. Garments and woollens must be la
belled with the woolmark and additionally marked "will not felf,
“non-felting", or “machine-washable".
Unsuitable for machine-washing are garments marked with
the following symbols:
Hand wash
Do not wash
Note care instruction "Wash separately“.
Coloureds and vi/hites should never be washed together.
In this case, whites will turn grey when washed.
New dark-oc^oured laundry often has suiprius colour. This may
be transferred to lighter fabrics during washing. Such gar
ments are bdst washed alone frie first time.
