Remove stains wherever possible immediately before they
have soaked in, vwth water and so^, or a special detergent or
laundry paste.
Empty pockets.
Please make sure that no metd objects (e.g. paper clips,
staples, safety pins, or the like) remain in the laundry.
Button up pillow cases, close zip-fasteners, hooks, and eyes.
Tie together loose, belts and long apron strings.
Turn knitted coloured garments, woolens, and bejewelled tex­
tiles inside out.
Particularly small or sensWva garments (e.g. baby
socks, ladies tights), can be easily washed in a small gauze
bag with zip-fastener or in larger socks.
Handle curtains especially carefully.
When taking them off their rails when windows are open, you
may damage or tear them (causing "ladders"). Remove rings
from your curtains or enclose them in a net or bag.
Under no circumstances can we accept liability for such dam­
age' to curtains.
Spin curtains only when permitted by the manufacturer.
