4. Place upper handle in position over lower han
dle. Control housing should be on the right
side of the handle.
NOTE
Reference to left or right side of
machine is determined from oper
ator’s position at the handle facing
forward.
A. Units with Non-Folding Handle—Secure
upper handle with two curved carriage
— bolts (B), lock washers (E) and hex nuts (F).
See figure 3.
B. Units with Folding Handle—Secure with
two carriage bolts (B) and hand knobs (A).
The knobs can be either to the inside or
outside of the handle.

Place the end of the blade brake/clutch cable
into the upper hole on the bottom of the throt
tle control housing, and through the slot as
shown in figure 4. Be careful not to bend or
kink the cable.
NOTE
The control cables must be assem
bled under the lower handle.

. Snap the end of the cable into the throttle con
trol housing.
-7. Hook the “Z” end of the blade brake/clutch
cable into blade brake/clutch control handle.
