TOOLS REQUIRED:

(1) Adjustable Wrench

(1) 3/4" Wrench

OTHER MATERIALS NEEDED:

(A) One gallon of regular grade gasoline (for engine)

(B) 1-1/4 pints of SAE 30 or 10W oil (for engine)

(C)

3-1/2 gallons of Dexron II Automatic Trans

mission fluid. (May be obtained at your local
Service Station or Auto Parts store).

Cleaning rag

(E) Funnel

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. Block up rear end of log splitter so that the rear

wheels may be assembled.

2. Place spacers (A) on axle, then wheels and secure

with collars (B) and set screws (C). See figure

3. Secure engagement handle to beam with shoulder

bolt (E) and flat washer (D). See figure 3.

Remove the hairpin cotter from ferrule.

5. Secure engagement rod to engagement handle

with hairpin cotter. See figure 3.
