BUTTONHOLES ON LIGHTWEIGHT OR KNIT FABRICS
Place cord strung over tab on presserfoot as shown.
After finishing the buttonhole, remove the foot from
the fabric, draw the loop of the cord string up to the
bar tack, tie the loose ends and trim the balance.
Cord String
: r-..
Position fabric in sewing area and attach button
hole foot to the machine. Sew the buttonhole so
that stitching covers cord string.
