Adjusting
forward-reverse
stitch baiance
Differences in stitch density between the right
and left sides of the buttonhole (forward and
reverse stitching) are equalized by adjusting
the reverse-stitch push button. A very slight
rotation of the button will produce a noticeable
change.
1. Make a test buttonhole with the push
button in neutral position (indicator dot
directly below T symbol on control
panel).
2. If the stitches on the right side of the
buttonhole are too open, rotate the push
button clockwise from its neutral position to
increase density of stitching.
If the stitches on the left side of the
buttonhole are too open, rotate the push
button counterclockwise from its neutral
position to increase density of stitching.
After buttonhole stitching is completed, return
push button to its neutral position (indicator
dot directly below ▼ symbol on control
panel).

La diferencia en la densidad del festón entre
el lado derecho y el izquierdo del ojal (costura
hacia adelante y hacia atrás) puede igualarse
por medio del ajuste del botón de retroceso de
puntada. Un leve giro del botón producirá un
cambio notable.
1. Haga un ojal de prueba con el botón en
posición neutral (con el punto indicador
directamente debajo del triángulo ^ ).
2. Si las puntadas en el lado derecho del ojal
son muy separadas, gire el botón en el
sentido de las manecillas del reloj desde
su posición neutral hasta aumentar la
densidad del festón.
3. Si las puntadas en el lado izquierdo son
muy separadas, gire el botón en el sentido
opuesto a las manecillas del reloj desde su
posición neutral hasta aumentar la
densidad del festón.
Después de completar el ojal, vuelva el botón
a su posición neutral (el punto indicador
directamente debajo del triángulo
