5. FLEXI STITCH
PATTERNS
In addition to straight and zig-zag stitches,
your machine can produce a variety of other
patterns.
Flexi stitches
These stitch patterns are used for sewing
knits and other stretch fabrics. Flexi Stitch
patterns are made by the side to side
movement of the needle along with the
backward and forward movement of the feed.
Pattern groups selecting
The knob localized to the right of panel on your
machine lets you choose 10 groups, each
containing 2 patterns.
Raise the needle to its highest position, adjust
the stitch width selector to straight stitch position
(------ ). This will see to It that the stitch pattern
selector will move far easier.
In order to single out the desired pattern group,
just turn the knob, sliding the indicator through
the panel, until it positions one of the pattern
groups you’ve chosen.
After carrying out the embroidery selection, turn
back the stitch width selector to the zig-zag po­
sition (
).
The flexi-stitch only accepts stitches works which
have numeration in red. Act upon the following
manner:
• Turn the stitch length dial to the left until the dot
on the dial lines up with the dot on the machine,
as shown.
Note: If for any reason the machine does not
start sewing your desired pattern after
aligning the two dot symbols, push-ln on the
reverse stitch button.

Además de los puntos rectos y en zig-zag,
su máquina puede producir una variedad de
otros diseños.
Puntos flexibles
Estos diseños de punto se utilizan para coser
tejidos de punto y otros extensibles. Los
diseños de punto flexible se producen por
el movimiento de la aguja de lado a lado y
el del arrastre hacia atrás y adelante.
Selección de los
grupos de puntos
El selector localizado a la derecha del panel de
su maquina, le permite escojer 10 grupos
conteniendo 2 diseños cada grupo.
Levante la aguja hasta la posición mas alta.
Ajuste el selector de la anchura del punto en la
posición de costura recta (----- ).
Esto hara con que el selector del tipo de punto
se mueva mas fácilmente.
Para seleccionar el grupo de puntos deseado,
gire el selector hasta que el indicador, deslizando
por el panel le posicione a costura escojida.
Después de efectuada la selección del bordado,
vuelva el selector de la anchura en la posición del
zig-zag (/v^). * •
La costura extensible permite solamente costu­
ras de puntos que poseen, en el panel.numera-
cion en rojo. Proceda de la siguiente manera:
• Gire el dial de longitud del punto hacia la
izquierda hasta que el punto sobre las líneas
del dial quede alineado con el punto de la
máquina, como se ilustra.
Nota: Si por alguna razón la máquina no
empieza a coser el diseño requerido después
de alinear los dos puntos, presione sobre el
botón de puntada reversible.
