oven for the first time. This is caused by the
heating of new parts and insulation.

The oven vent is located just above the door.
This area could become hot during oven use.
The vent is important for proper air circulation.

Let the oven preheat thoroughly when recipes
call for preheating. Preheating is bringing the
temperature up to the temperature you will be
using during baking. When the oven has
reached the preheat temperature, a tone will
sound. Have foods nearby, ready to place in
the oven.

In the back of the oven you will notice a small
tube. This is a heat sensor that maintains the
temperature of the oven. Never move or bend
this tube.
