OPERATING PROCEDURES

1. Before plugging in the air compressor, set the adjust-

al3ie pressure valve to “Start". Make sure the “ON-
OFP switch is in the 'OFP position.

2. Connect the air hose to the air outlet adapter. Tighten

securely.

3. Connect the air tool or accessory to the air hose.

Tighten securely.

4. Pli^ the power cord into the grounded outlet.

5. Start the compressor by setting the “ON-OFF switch

to the “ON" position.

TOO MUCH AIR PRESSURE COULD CAUSE
AN AIR TOOL OR VEHICLE TIRE TO RUP­
TURE OR EXPLODE. CAREFULLY FOLLOW

STEPS 6 AND 7 EACH TIME YOU USE YOUR
COMPRESSOR.

6. Check the manufacturer’s maximum pressure rating

for the air tool, accessory or vehicle tire being used.
The air compressor outlet pressure must never
exceed the maximum pressure rating.

Slowly ittorease the pre^re setting of toe adjustabi
pressure valve, ^fbu should be able to ftoar aid fei
air pressure being relieved by the adji^table pressur
valve. If pressure is not being relieved, turn the a
compressor off immediately. The pressure valv
must be replaced.

Compressed air from the outfit may contain
water condensation and oil mist. Do not

MAINTENANCE

WARNING

DURING MAINTENANCE, YOU COULD BE EXPOSED TO VOLTAGE SOURCES, COMPRESSED

AIR OR MOVING PARTS. PERSONAL INJURIES CAN OCCUR. UNPLUG THE COMPRESSOR
AND BLEED OFF ALL AIR PRESSURE BY TURNING THE ADJUSTABLE PRESSURE VALVE TO
THE START POSITION BEFORE DOING ANY MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR.

Air Intake Filter - Replacement

NOTE

Keep air intoke filter clean at all times. Do itot

operate the compmssor with the filter remo^.

A dirty air fnt^ fitter will not ^low toe compressor to
operate at full (^actty. When the fitter becomes dirty, it
must be cleaned or replacé, 'to r^ilace ttw fitter, simply
pull it out and replace with a new one. If it Is dirty, simply
pull it out - you may wash it with a mild detergent and
warm water.

Motor

The motor has an automatic reset toermal overload pro­

tector. If toe motor overheats for any reason, toe over­

load protector will shut off toe motor. The motor mi^ be
allov^ to cool. The motor will automatically re-start
after the motcv has cooled.

NOTE

If tf№ overload protector shuts the motor off fre-
quality, ched( for a posable voltoge (^blem.
Low voltage can also be si^ected when:

1. the motor does not get up to full power or

speed;

2.

lusBS

blow out when starting toe motor;

3. lights dim and remain dim when motor is

started arto running.
