7. Place flattened carton on floor and carefully
tip the stove box assembly (#1) onto it’s back.
Prop up the bottom edge with additional pack-
ing material or wood pieces.
8. Tip the pedestal base assembly back and align
the four mounting holes in the top plate of the
pedestal base assembly to the mounting studs
in the bottom of the stove box. Secure with hex
nuts and tighten. NOTE: By design the pedestal
base is open on the back side to help dissipate
heat.
9. Carefully lift the stove to the upright posi-
tion.
10. Insert the ash drawer (#13) into the pedestal
base
11. After properly locating flooring protector
(figure 7, page 6) to accommodate minimum
stove clearances, place stove in position on
floor protector.
12. Attach rear deflector (#2) to the rear side cor-
ners of the stove using four screws provided.
13. Attach blower assembly (#3) to back of rear
deflector. NOTE: Make sure ceramic gasket
(#26) is positioned between rear deflector and
blower assembly and is properly aligned so it
doesn’t block the fan, Figure 5.
14. Install damper (#5) into damper collar (#4) [see
damper installation below] and secure to top
surface of stove using machine screws.

1. Position collar onto hole in stove top and align
the mounting holes.
2. Secure the collar to stove with bolts and nuts
supplied (figure 6).
3. Install damper into collar as shown in lower
illustration (figure 6).
4. Insert damper handle through collar into
damper and out the opposite side of collar.
