6.3 Scope
The users can monitor the I/O data with the ‘Scope’ feature. The values will be displayed
in Hex or ASCII character. Select the port to scope the data and click the ‘Scope’ button.
6.3.1
Scope Menu:
 Start/Stop: Starts or Stops scoping the data.
 Hex/ASCII: Toggles the data type. Hex displays hexadecimal value while ASCII shows the data in
ASCII format.
 Clear: Delete all values shown in the window.
 Capture: Capture and save currently displayed data into a file.
 Screen: Displayed colors for background or character can be modified here.
 Open: Open capture data file.
6.3.2
Start / Stop
The following screen shows the scope window in hexadecimal mode. Since the scope is active the ‘Stop’
button is displayed. The users can click the stop button to stop scoping.
