2.4 Unlock the pistol
Safety lever

Pistol is cocked and ready to fi re.
Push safety lever downwards as far as it will go (Figure 2)
The grip safety (Figure 3) is behind the receiver and blocks the trigger.
Firing is only possible with the safety lever down and grip safety depressed.
In this condition the hammer will fall when the trigger is pulled.
(The safety can only be activated when the hammer is in a cocked
position.)
