The Armada M700 offers either a 6-cell or 8-cell standard Li-Ion battery, depending on the model selected.

Typical battery life is over 2 hours for the 6-cell and over 3 hours for the 8-cell, depending on the exact

configuration used. An optional 6-cell MultiBay battery is available, providing an additional 2.3 hours of battery

life, using the configurations indicated below.

Note: Actual results may vary with individual usage. When tested in standard configuration, using the Ziff-Davis

BatteryMark Test v3.0, the battery life of the Armada M700 PII, 400MHz, Win98 model using the 8-cell

battery will range up to 3.2 hours. Standard configuration at time of announcement (10/25/99) is

considered to be one battery, a 1024 x 768 (64K colors) 14.1-in panel set at 50% brightness, 64-MB

RAM and no drives other than the hard drive active.
