Silencing an Alarm
While the fire alarm horns, strobes, or sirens are sounding use one of the following methods to silence the alarm depending on which type
of keypad you own.
RA-7630 LCD Display Keypad
While the alarm bell or siren is sounding, use the code 99 followed by COMMAND (99 is the default user code). The keypad displays
ALARM SILENCED.
RA-7692 LED Keypad
Press the SILENCE key and enter the user code (99 Command) to silence a system alarm and the keypad sounder
Resetting an Alarm
The panel must be silenced before it can be reset. Therfore, follow the procedure outlined above to silence the alarm.
RA-7630 LCD Display Keypad
Press the COMMAND button once. The display will read MENU? NO YES, press button under YES. Enter the code 99 (or the
programmed user code then the COMMAND button. The display will read SENSOR RESET? press any of the top four buttons. The
sensor will turn off then turn on. The keypad and system is reset.
RA-7692 LED Keypad
Press RESET button followed by the 99 Command to reset the panel. It may take up to three seconds for the panel to reset.
