3 Roll Cylinder/Link Arm Pin Update

Replacement of the existing pin on the upper roll cylinder/link arm with a 20mm
pin is necessary because this will reduce the play in the roll, therefore improving
stability. The lower pin does not need to be changed, but it should be tightened.

1.

Remove the top pin from the roll cylinder or link arm. If the pin has been welded, the weld
will have to be removed.

2.

Install the supplied 20mm pin and snap ring (P04) in place of the existing ¾” pin. If there is
more than 1/16 inch (2 mm) of wear between the mounting holes and the pin then the pin
should be welded to eliminate the free movement.

3.

Check the lower bolt for free movement. If there is any free movement, tighten the bolt.
