Selecting the SCSI ID
Since each device on the same SCSI bus must have a unique ID, the user may
need to set the drive’s ID before installation.
IMPORTANT: The drive has been configured by Compaq with SCSI ID = 6 selected. Do
not use SCSI ID = 7: this is reserved for SCSI controllers
Use the following table to obtain the appropriate jumper settings:

NOTE: In the above table, “CLOSED” indicates that a jumper has been installed.
IMPORTANT: The drive reads the jumper block settings at power-on. For changes to
be effective, either the user must turn the drive OFF then back ON or the drive must
receive a SCSI Bus Reset.
