Replacing a BJ Tank in the BC-21e Color BJ Cartridge
If you are using a BC-21e Color BJ Cartridge and you perform a print
operation correctly but either the color or black output is blank, a
BJ tank may be out of ink. Perform the print head cleaning at least
five times. If the same output is still blank, replace the empty BJ tank
in the BC-21e Color BJ Cartridge.
❍ Then remove the orange protective cap.
❍ Lift the cover from the center.
❍ The printer moves the cartridge holder to the center of
the printer.
❍ The
POWER/ERROR light blinks while the cartridge holder
is positioned to the center of the printer.
Open the
cartridge holder.
Make sure the
printer’s power is
on, and open the
printer cover.
Take the new
BJ tank out of its
packaging.
