TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
The follov/ing checks will assist in the correction of most
problems which you may encounter with your unit.
Should any problem persist after you have made these checks,
consult your nearest dealer or service facility.
No Power
Symptom Cause (and Remedy)
Batteries are exhausted Replace batteries
Adaptor is not connected
securely
Connect the adaptor
CD Operation (Cannot Function)
CD is not inserted properly Make sure that the CD is inserted,
printed side facing up
CD door is not completely
closed
Close the CD door
'Hold' function is activated To cancel the HOLD function,
slide the POWER selector to the
original position
The lens ® is steamed up See 'Maintenance'
CD Operation (No Sound)
No output from headphone Adjust the volume knob.
Headphone is not connected
securely
Connect the headphone
