Troubleshooting
MAINTENANCE
Clean the parts indicated after every 50 hours
of operation or, on average, once a month.
If a fault occurs, first check the points listed
below before taking the set for repair. If you
are unable to remedy a problem by following
these hints, consult your dealer or service
centre.
Warning; Under no circomstances should you
try to repair the set yourself, as this would
invalidate the guarantee
PROBLEM
• Open the cassette holder by pressing
EJECT«.
• Use a cotton bud slightly moistened with
alcohol or a special head cleaning fluid.
• Press PLAY - roller (D). • Then press PAUSE ii and clean the capstan (c), recording/playback head (|) and erase head ( a ). • After cleaning, press STOP «.
