1. It is al ways best to begin with a clean,
slightly damp beard.
2. After you ha ve combed through your
beard in the direction it gro ws na turally,
you will want to outline the desired
shape, beginning under your jawline.
3. Begin defining your
beard’s shape under
your chin and work
upward on each side
of your face to ward
your ears. Then define the upper outline
of your beard across your cheeks, past
your sideburns, and toward your hairline.
TO OPERA TE TRIMMER
1. Make sure unit is “off ”. Remove wide
clipper blade by simply placing your thumb
in front of the blade and pushing back until
the blade detaches. Use cleaning brush to
remove an y loose hair before attaching the
trimmer blade. Attach the narro w blade from
the back, (lining it up with the small tab) and
then push forward until the blade snaps into
place. Be sure tha t the taper control is set
to the lowest setting (s witch will be do wn
from the blade) before replacing the blade.
To begin trimming, push the ta per control
switch up to its highest setting.

OILING THE BLADES
About once a month you should oil the trim-
mer blades with the oil provided in your kit. It
is best to do this over a piece of newspa per.
Turn the trimmer on and hold it so tha t the
blades are pointed do wnward. Spread one
drop of oil across the blades, then turn the
trimmer off and wipe away the excess oil
with a soft cloth.

TURBO FEA TURE
This product is equipped with a turbo boost
button. When activated, this will provide 15%
more cutting power . This is especially useful
for cutting through thicker hair.
To activate the turbo feature:
1. T urn the Power switch to the “ON ” posi -
tion.
2. Press the Turbo button.
3. Continue to press the Turbo button for as
long as you need the extra power .
4. Release the Turbo button to return to
normal po wer.

1. The trimmer inc ludes 1 five-position comb
for use with the 30mm facial hair blade,
which provides lengths of 3/32" (shortest) to
3/8" (longest).
2. T o use the 5-position comb, slide the unit
over the trimmer blade and sna p it down
into position. At first, until you become
familiar with the adjustments, use the lon -
gest trim setting. (Y ou can always go back
and make your beard a little shorter.)

you to achieve a neat, finished trim under
your chin. To use one of the attachments,
press it down over the trimmer blades until it
clicks into position.
2. Hold the trimmer in an upright position
and begin trimming under your ja wline, using
short, even strokes.
3. After your beard is blended, turn off the
trim mer a nd rem ove t he atta chm ent b y
gently pulling up on the tab.

1. Asegúrese que el aparato esté apagado
y que el botón de ajuste del recorte esté en
la posición más baja. Saque la cuchilla para
el cabello, empujándola hacia atrás con su
dedo pulgar. Limpie los pelos sueltos con el
cepillo de limpieza provisto. Alinee la lengüe-
ta con la cuchilla para la barba y presione la
cuchilla hasta que caiga en posición. Para
empezar a cortar el pelo, deslice el botón de
ajuste del recorte hacia arriba.
2. Para cortar su bigote, péinelo en la direc-
ción del crecimiento natural del pelo. Coloque
el botón de ajuste del recorte en la posición
más larga. La cortadora para la barba y el
bigote sólo funcionará en esta posición.
Mantenga la cortadora recta y acerque los
filos de la cuchilla al bigote.
3. Para limpiar las cuchillas, asegúrese que la
cortadora esté apagada (OFF), luego empuje

LUBRICAR LAS CUCHILLAS
Lubrique las cuchillas aproximadamente una
vez al mes, usando el aceite provisto. Para
no ensuciar, hágalo encima de un periódico.
Encienda el aparato y manténgalo bocabajo.
Coloque unas gotas de aceite sobre las
cuchillas, apague el aparato, y limpie el
exceso de aceite con un paño suave. No use
demasiado aceite y no lubrique el aparato
más de lo necesario. Esto podría lastimar
el motor. Nunca intente lubricar las piezas
del motor, ya que son lubricadas de manera
permanente. Después de lubricar las cuchil-
las, regrese el aparato y el aceite lubricante

FUNCIÓN TURBO
Su cortadora está equipada con un botón
Turbo. La función Turbo ofrece un 15% más
fuerza, lo cual facilita el cortado del cabello
espeso o grueso. Para activar la función

BARBAS Y BIGOTES
El tipo de barba o de bigote que más conviene
a su rostro depende de:
1. La forma y el tamaño de su rostro
2. La forma del crecimiento natural de su
barba o de su bigote
3. El espesor de su barba o de su bigote
Si no está seguro del tipo de barba o bigote
que le conviene, busque el consejo de un
estilista profesional. Después de darle forma
a su barba o a su bigote, tendrá que man-
tener su aspecto, usando la cortadora una vez
por semana.
Para lograr resultados óptimos, humedezca
ligeramente (NO LA MOJE) su barba o su big-
ote antes del recorte. Esto logrará un cortado
más preciso.
EL RECORTE
1. Su cortadora incluye un peine accesorio
(o guía) de 5 posiciones para uso con la
cuchilla para la barba de 30mm, y que
corta el pelo desde 2mm hasta 10mm.
2. Instale el peine accesorio encima de la
cuchilla para la barba. Le recomenda-
mos que utilice la posición más larga
hasta acostumbrarse a lo largo del recorte
(siempre podrá volver a acortar la barba).
3. Si desea usar el botón de ajuste de lo largo
del recorte con el peine accesorio, empuje
el botón hacia arriba para lograr cortes
más cortos o hacia abajo para lograr
cortes más largos. Le recomendamos que
utilice la posición más larga hasta acos-
tumbrarse a lo largo del recorte (siempre
podrá volver a acortar la barba).
4. Empiece a cortar su barba con movimien-
tos parejos y suaves, desde las patillas
hasta la quijada. Nunca corte en la direc-
ción opuesta a la del
crecimiento natural del
pelo. El recorte resul-
taría demasiado corto.
5. Si desea un recorte aún más corto, escoja
un largo de recorte más corto, como 2mm
o 4mm, y siga acortando su barba hasta
conseguir el tamaño deseado.

IGUALAR LA QUIJADA
1. Los tres peines accesorios para la quijada
le permitirán lograr un recorte neto y preciso.
Ensarte el peine accesorio deseado sobre
las cuchillas, presionando hasta que caiga
en posición.
2. Mantenga la cortadora recta y corte el pelo
con pequeños movimientos parejos.
3. Cuando haya terminado, apague la cor-
tadora y saque el peine accesorio, jalando
la lengüeta.
