Playing MP3/WMA Files
You can play MP3A/VMA files that have been recorded on a CD-R or CD-ROM on
the DVD video player.

• Make sure that a disc you want to play is compatible with this DVD video player.

Place a CD that contains MPS/WMA files
on the disc tray.
Press OPEN/CLOSE to load the disc.
OPEN/CLOSE
Playback starts.
To stop playback, press STOP.

To pause playback
Press PAUSE/STEP during playback
PAUSE/STEP
To resume normal playback, press
the PLAY button.
Selecting a track (file) in the disc
1 Press NAVI twice.
2 Select the
ENTER.

A list of tracks appears.
3 Press A / ▼ / -^ / ► to select a track you want to
play.
(Pressing -► turns the pages.)
The current track being played is highlighted in
green.
4 Press ENTER to begin playback of the selected
track.
Notes
• You can select a track also by designating a track number.
Press the T button, and press the A / T buttons to select
a track number, then press the ENTER button.
• To turn off the on-screen display, press the NAVI button
several times.
• Letters of a file/folder name overflowing the given space
are not displayed.
Notes
• Some discs may not permit this operation.
• WMA tracks copy-protected cannot be played.
• The BITST№j^/PCM jack outputs MPS/WMA sounds in the linear PCM
format
regardless of the current “Diqitai Output"
selection [6^[^.
• If you stop^^ck by pressing the STOP button, and then press the PLAY button, playback will start from the beginning of
CitC Ur3CK.
• The SKIP [3?) and PLAY MODE [3^ functions are also available.
