Unfold the new dust
bag.
Insert the dust bag
completely onto the
dirt tube by holding
the bag collar.
Snap the dust bag
collar into position.
Be sure the bottom of dust bag is com­
pletely within the bag cavity prior to
replacing the bag cover.
Position the
bag cover so
its position­
ing tab fits
into the body
positioning
tab slot.
Close the
bag cover.

You will hear a
snap when the
cover is securely
dosed.
EXHAUST FILTER CLEANING
WARNING
Do not operate without exhaust
filter.
Check filter
frequently.
Clean when dirty
Press the handle
release pedal to
let the upper por­
tion of the clean­
er lay back
against the floor.

Grasp the air
exhaust panel
with a hand on
each side,
press inward
and puli the
pane! forward.
Lift the foam filter to remove. Wash the
foam filter, rinse and dry.
DO NOT
clean in the
dishwasher.
DO NOT
install while
damp.

Replace the
exhaust panel.
Return the cleaner
to the upright posi­
tion.
Replace the
dry foam filter,
carefully posi­
tioning it so
the slits fit
around the
four raised
pins.
