1. Before calling for assistance ...

Is the power cord plugged in?

Is lint screen clogged with iint?

Is exhaust duct or outside exhaust hood plugged with lint?

Have you blown a fuse or tripped the circuit breaker?

If you need more help, check the chart below.

PROBLEM

CHECK THE FOLLOWING

Dryer will not run

Is the dryer door firmly closed?
Did you firmly push ON/SELECT and/or START?

Dryer will not heat

Is the cycle in the last few minutes? (There is no heat during that
time.)

If you have a gas dryer, are the valves open on both the dryer and

the supply line?

Drying time too long

Is your lint screen clean? (See the “Slow drying” section of the

table on page 25 for additional information.)
