Important Safety Instructions
READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Gas ranges have been thoroughly tested for safe and efficient operation. However, as with
any appiiarx^e, there are specific installation arnf safety precautions which must be followed
to et№ure safe arKi satisfactory operation.
ikWARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, eiectricai shock, injury to persons,
or damage when using the range, foiiow basic precautions,
inciuding the fbiiowing:
WARNING: If the information in this manuai is not foiiowed exactly, a
fire or explosion may result causing property damage, personal
injury or death.
Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors and liquids in
the vicinity of this or any other appliance.
WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:
• Do not try to light any appliance.
• Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use any phone in
your building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor’s phone.
Follow the gas supplier’s Instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department

Instructions. The range must be installed
by a qualified installer. The range must
be properly connected to the proper gas
supply and checked for leaks. The range
must also be property connected to
eiectricai supply
and
grounded.
• Gas fuels and their use in appliarx:es
can cause minor exposures to benzene,
formaldehyde, carbon monoxide arxl
soot, primarily from incomplete combus
tion. Significant exposure to these
substances can cause cancer or repro
ductive harm. Properly adjusted burners
with a blue, rather than a yellow, flame
will minimize incomplete combustion.
Venting with a hood or an open window
will further nrinimize exposure.
