If you have any doubts about washing a particular item, check with the manufacturer to see if

Bottles

Wash bottles and cans by hand. Labels attached
with glue can loosen in your dishwasher. Loose
labels and glue can clog spray arm or the pump
arnd will reduce washing performance.

Cast Iron

Seasoning will be removed and iron will rust.

Stoneware
