Press and release the HFL Talk button before you give a command.

begin the call.

heard through the

1. A notification is heard, and
“INCOMING CALL” and the
phone number appear on the
MID.
2. Press the HFL Talk button to
accept the call.
3. Press the HFL Back button
to decline or end the call.

audio systems. Visit www.acura.com/handsfreelink to check if your phone
is compatible.

1. Press the Pick-Up button to
access the Phone screen. A
prompt appears. Say “Yes.”
Pick-Up button: Answer an
incoming call, or go directly to the
Cellular Phone screen.
Hang-Up button: End a call or
decline an incoming call.
Talk button: Give HFL commands.
Back button: Cancel a command
and return to the previous screen.

2. Make sure your phone is in
discovery mode, and say “OK.”
3. HFL searches for your phone.
Select it when it appears on the
list. Go to step 4.
If your phone does not
appear:
Select “Phone Not Found?”
and search for a
HandsFreeLink device from
your phone. Connect to
HFL. Go to step 4.
4. HFL gives you a four-digit
code. Enter it on your
phone when prompted.
Select OK to complete.
NOTE: To pair another phone to HFL (or if the prompts do not
appear), you must use the Phone Setup menu. See your Owner’s
Manual for pairing instructions.
