How to Use This Guide
Introduction
This guide describes how to prepare a Lexmark multifunction peripheral (MFP) to work with
Kofax Front-Office Server. After performing this procedure, you can upload profiles with
shortcuts from Kofax Front-Office Server Administration Console whenever needed.
Before continuing, refer to the Kofax Web site at www.kofax.com for supported models and
application versions.

For instructions on using Kofax Capture, refer to the Kofax Capture guides and Help.
Help for Kofax Front-Office Server Applications
Kofax Front-Office Server Web Client and Kofax Front-Office Server Administration Console have
Help that describes how to use the application. Each Help system has a table of contents, index,
and full-text search to assist you in finding information. To view the Help from the application,
click the Help button. The Help appears in a separate browser window. You can also view the
Help when you are at the server by selecting Start | Programs | Kofax Front-Office Server |
Documentation and then the Help system.
