APPENDIX B — hIGh TEMPERATURE CALIBRATION FLUIDS
These fluids are recommended for verifying the calibration of the Brookfield Thermosel System.

The viscometer calibration is verified first. A regular* "disc" spindle should be used to test the HT
fluid in its jar at 25.0°C or 77°F. Please refer to the appropriate viscometer operation manual for
instructions.
The Thermosel System and its appropriate spindle are then used to measure the HT fluid's viscosity
at 200 and 300°F.
