Mount Network Drive
The Mount Network Drive utility is used to establish a link between an available drive number on DigiCart/E
and one of the network drives (NFS shared folders) on the network. This link is called a ‘mount path’. The
basic process is to select a DigiCart/E drive number to be used, and then select a network drive to which it
will be linked.
DigiCart/E will always have at least one drive number that can be mapped to the network. Depending upon
how many drive numbers are assigned to local partitions, up to four drive numbers may be available for
network assignments. DigiCart/E has a flexible drive arrangement that allows a mix of internal drive
partitions and network drives. See the discussion “Allocation of Logical Drives” in the Setup and Utility
Menu chapter of the DigiCart/E Owner’s Manual.

changed, or deleted at any time. Do not rename directories 0-9 or S such that the first character is changed.
Adding a “-” and a name will cause that name to be displayed as the directory name on the DigiCart.
