Making Calls with the Handset

Press [TALK}.
oThe TALK indicator lights.
Dial a telephone number.
o|f you misdial, press [FLASH]
firmly then dial again.
To hang up, press [TAlXl or
place the handset on the base
unit.
oThe TALK indicator light
goes out.

o|f an alarm tone sounds in step 1, move towards the base unit or place
the handset on the base unit. Then try again.
oTo switch to the speakerphone during a call with the handset, see

To redial the last number
Press [TALK] [F^IAL/P^SEl.
To select the receiver volume LOW, MEDIUM (preset) or
HIGH
Press [LOUD/RING^] while talking.
oEach time you press the button, the volume level will change.

If noise interferes with the conversation
Press fCHl to select a clear channel or move closer to the base unit.
